As you may know, all metal tarnishes over time. We have added an anti-tarnish sealed bag with all of our materials that are notorious for tarnishing, but please read here for more tips!

Here are a few tips for you to keep your Camilla Limón pieces as shiny as the day you got them! 

The more you wear your pieces, the less likely they are to tarnish
Do NOT wear them in the ocean

Here are the polishing pads that I use while in production. If you are looking for a more natural way to clean your products, see below.

For Aluminum:
Using a soft cloth, clean with:
1 solution of cream of tartar

For Brass:
Using a soft cloth, dip in either:
Lemon and baking soda solution
Vinegar and salt solution
A dab of ketchup

For Steel:
Using a soft cloth, dampened with either:
Undiluted white vinegar
Olive oil

For Copper:
Soak a cotton rag in a pot of boiling water with (apply while hot):
1 tablespoon of salt
1 cup of white vinegar

Using a soft cloth, apply with:
A dab of ketchup

For Gold:
Clean with:
Paste of salt, vinegar, flour

For Silver:
Line a pan with aluminum foil, add (then boil and immerse silver):
Water (enough to fill)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
